Job Title: Branch Sales Manager – Insurance Sales Location: Newtown, Kolkata Department: Sales / Insurance Reports To: Regional Manager  Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Sales Manager to lead and grow our insurance sales operations at the branch level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales targets, managing a team of sales professionals, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Sales Executives/Advisors to achieve branch sales targets. * Drive life/general insurance product sales through effective planning, prospecting, and client engagement. * Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the branch’s customer base and increase revenue. * Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to achieve individual and team targets. * Conduct regular sales training and workshops to upskill the team. * Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and relationship management. * Collaborate with marketing and operations teams for lead generation and smooth policy issuance. * Ensure adherence to all compliance, regulatory, and company guidelines. * Analyze branch sales data and prepare performance reports for management review. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred). * Minimum 4–6 years of experience in insurance sales, with at least 1–2 years in a team-leading/managerial role. * Strong understanding of life and/or general insurance products and market dynamics. * Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic sales environment. * Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
