Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to oversee our banking operations in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing branch activities, driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing daily branch operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to bank policies and RBI regulations. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial and banking laws such as KYC, AML, and risk management policies. Conducting regular branch audits and implementing corrective measures as needed will be part of your duties. In terms of sales and business development, you will be tasked with developing and implementing strategies to increase branch revenue and profitability. Achieving sales targets for deposits, loans, and other banking products will be crucial. Identifying new business opportunities and fostering partnerships with local businesses will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, promoting cross-selling of financial products like loans, credit cards, and investment services will be essential. Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, resolving escalated customer concerns, and building strong relationships with high-net-worth clients and corporate customers will be key aspects of customer service and relationship management in this role. Organizing customer outreach programs and community engagement initiatives will also be part of your responsibilities. As a Branch Manager, you will be expected to lead, train, and motivate branch staff to achieve performance goals. Conducting performance reviews, providing professional development support, and fostering a positive work environment will be essential components of team management and leadership. Key skills and competencies for this role include strong leadership and team management skills, in-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory compliance, proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, customer-focused approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred qualifications for this position include certification in banking, risk management, or financial services (preferred) and an MBA or Masters degree in Finance or Business Administration (optional but beneficial).
