Job Description

Job Title: Branch Head Location: Chennai Department: Sales & Business Development Experience: 2+ years in stock broking, financial services, or wealth management Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields (NISM certifications preferred) Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Revenue Growth Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and business targets. Drive the sales of equity, derivatives, mutual funds, and other financial products. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and referrals. Expand and retain the client base by offering high-quality investment solutions. 2. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Offer personalized investment advisory services and trading support. Address client queries, concerns, and provide market insights. Increase client engagement and portfolio value through cross-selling. 3. Team Leadership & People Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of relationship managers and dealers. Conduct training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques. Monitor team performance and set sales and service benchmarks. Foster a high-performance work culture within the branch. 4. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations, stock exchange norms, and internal policies. Monitor risk management measures and trade activities to prevent discrepancies. Maintain necessary records and documentation for regulatory compliance. 5. Market Research & Strategy Development Stay updated with market trends, economic developments, and industry changes. Analyse market conditions and provide clients with investment opportunities. Work closely with the research team to deliver strategic insights to clients. Key Skills: ✔ Strong knowledge of stock markets, financial instruments, and trading platforms. ✔ Excellent leadership and team management abilities. ✔ Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. ✔ Understanding of SEBI regulations and compliance frameworks. ✔ Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. ✔ Proficiency in CRM software, trading platforms, and financial tools. Preferred Qualifications: ✔ NISM Certifications (Series VIII). ✔ Prior experience in managing a branch or a large sales team.
