Book Keeper

Job Role: Bookkeeper Location: Mohali Sec-62 Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in bookkeeping and store accounting Job Timings: 11 A.m. to. 7 P.m. Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records for our retail store. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, with strong knowledge of Excel and Tally software. A working understanding of inventory and store operations will be a plus. Key Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally and Excel. Maintain and reconcile ledgers, accounts, and bank statements. Generate and manage invoices, credit notes, and payment receipts. Monitor daily cash flow, expenses, and sales entries. Ensure timely GST filings and tax compliance. Maintain inventory records in coordination with store staff. Prepare financial reports, summaries, and balance sheets. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation. Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality of financial information. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping/accounting in a retail or similar environment Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime,My Bill Book Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas) Familiarity with inventory management and billing processes Good understanding of accounting principles and taxation Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or a related field Preferred Skills  Knowledge of GST returns and e-way bills and TDS(Must) Experience working in a retail or FMCG environment Basic knowledge of payroll and staff attendance tracking Compensation: Salary: 10000-17000 How to Apply: Please send your updated resume to contact@simrandhillon.com or contact at : 9878780883
