Key Responsibilities

Project Planning, Monitoring & Control

  • Assist in project planning activities and tracking of master and detailed schedules using tools such as

    Primavera / MS Project

    .
  • Monitor

    daily, weekly, and monthly site progress

    and highlight schedule variances.
  • Support delay analysis and preparation of

    catch-up and recovery plans

    in coordination with site and engineering teams.
  • Ensure alignment between construction progress, milestones, and overall project timelines.
  • Prepare periodic

    planning MIS, progress reports, and dashboards

    for management review.

Billing, Cost Control & Cash Flow Management

  • Handle

    contractor and vendor billing

    , including

    RA bills, measurements, BOQ tracking, certification, and reconciliation

    .
  • Ensure billing is in line with

    approved drawings, BOQs, contracts, and actual site progress

    .
  • Coordinate with

    QS, contracts, procurement, and finance teams

    for timely bill submission, verification, and approvals.
  • Track cost variations, assist in

    claims and variation orders

    , and support effective cost control.
  • Monitor project cash flow and support timely revenue realization.

Contract Coordination & MIS Reporting

  • Assist project and contracts teams in tracking

    billing milestones, variations, and contractual obligations

    .
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date

    billing, measurement, and planning documentation

    .
  • Prepare

    weekly and monthly MIS reports

    , dashboards, and management review presentations.

Team & Site Coordination

  • Coordinate with site execution teams, consultants, and head office for smooth billing and planning activities.
  • Support senior engineers in mentoring junior staff related to billing and documentation.
  • Ensure effective communication between site, planning, billing, and management teams.

Qualification & Experience

  • B.E./B.Tech/Diploma

    in Civil Engineering.
  • 3–8 years

    of experience in billing and cost control in

    infrastructure/construction projects

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    RA billing, BOQs, measurements, contracts, and cost control

    .
  • Proficiency in

    MS Excel

    , and working knowledge of

    Primavera/MS Project

    preferred.
