We are an organisation that exists to drive progress. That's the "red thread" that connects everyone at The Economist Group (TEG). Our businesses share a devotion to innovation, independence and rigour in their fields of expertise. We empower people to understand and tackle the critical challenges and changes facing the world. Our analytical rigour, global expertise and evidence-based insights enable individuals and organisations to make sense of these shifts and chart a course through them.
We deliver analysis and insights in many formats to subscribers and clients in 170 countries through our four businesses, The Economist, Economist Impact, Economist Intelligence and Economist Education, which uphold our global reputation for excellence and integrity.
About the Role
This is an exciting time to join the Data & Insights team at The Economist Group. Under our Chief Data Officer we have created a centre of excellence spanning research, analytics and data science partnering with the whole group, including our core subscription business, our Economist Intelligence, Economist Impact and Executive Education and Events businesses. Our purpose is to better understand and affect the drivers of our business through data analytics and research, with a focus on our users, B2C customers and B2B clients. We are value-focused and outcome-driven: we help drive growth and agility at every level, whether through informing strategic alignment and decisions, providing quick feedback loops to operators or creating machine learning models to be integrated into our products and marketing communications.
As a Data Analyst, you'll help bring our data to life and empower stakeholders with insights that drive strategic and operational decisions. You will work closely with our B2B teams initially, with opportunities to expand across the business. The focus is on facilitating the development of more robust datasets and enabling access to high-quality, actionable data via intuitive dashboards and scalable reporting solutions.
