Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Power BI tailored to business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements and translate them into insightful visualizations.
• Design and optimize data models using best practices for performance, reusability, and scalability in Power BI.
• Use DAX and Power Query (M) to build complex measures, calculated columns, and data transformations.
• Support and maintain existing SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) reports where needed.
• Integrate and transform data from various sources (databases, flat files, APIs) into Power BI datasets.
• Provide training and support to end-users on self-service BI capabilities.
• Document BI solutions and participate in governance, version control, and data quality initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications:

Mandatory (critical for the Role):

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in BI/reporting roles, with strong focus on Power BI
• Demonstrated experience building data-driven dashboards and analytical solutions
• Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects in a support or transition context
• Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to business stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple reporting projects simultaneously

Desirable:

• Certifications in Power BI

Skills (Technical, Business, Leadership):

• Power BI Desktop: Advanced report/dashboard creation using custom visuals, slicers, bookmarks, tooltips, and themes
• DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Proficient in creating measures, KPIs, time intelligence calculations
• Power Query (M Language): Data extraction, transformation, and cleansing
• Data Modelling: Star/snowflake schemas, relationship management, normalization/denormalization
• Power BI Service: Workspace management, app deployment, dataset refresh scheduling, and RLS implementation
• Integration: Data connectors (Excel, SQL Server, SharePoint, Web APIs, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Business Objects platform
