Hi,

We are hiring for one of our client from chemical industry based in Borivali East Mumbai.

JOB ROLE- BDM (International sales)

Experience - 5year +

Budget- 5-12 LPA


Job description-


Market Development


Identify and develop new international customers and distributors for Specialty Chemicals, VAM (Vinyl Acetate Monomer), BAM (Butyl Acrylate Monomer), Styrene, MMA (Methyl Methacrylate), and Toluene.


Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and price benchmarking in target regions (Asia, Middle East, Europe, Africa, Americas).



Sales & Revenue Growth


Achieve monthly/quarterly international sales targets.


Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with global clients.


Drive export volumes while maintaining profitability.



Customer Relationship Management


Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and agents.


Provide technical support and product information to customers.



Commercial Operations


Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and documentation teams for smooth export transactions.


Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, REACH, and local chemical import norms.


Monitor credit limits, payment collections, and risk management.



Strategic Input


Suggest new product opportunities, packaging solutions, and potential geographies for business expansion.


Track global demand-supply trends and recommend pricing strategies.

Key Requirements:


Graduate in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering; MBA in Marketing/International Business preferred.


5–10 years’ experience in international sales of bulk/specialty chemicals, preferably in monomers/solvents.


Strong global market exposure (Middle East, Europe, SE Asia, Africa, Americas).


Excellent negotiation and communication skills with proven ability to close large volume deals.


Knowledge of Incoterms, LC, DG shipping norms, and export documentation is a must.


Willingness to travel extensively for business development.
