At Profolo, we help organizations build trusted talent networks through verified, compliant, and transparent
hiring. Our platform integrates secure digital verification methods to automate and strengthen identity,
education, and compliance checks as part of our product workflow.
This is not a typical BGV role - you will support Profolo’s built-in verification workflows, combining
automated tools and vendor partnerships to ensure every hire meets the highest standards for trust and
compliance.
• Execute and oversee end-to-end checks (employment, education, identity, address, criminal, references)
through our digital verification workflows.
• Review documents, cross-check data with official digital sources, and validate candidate details.
• Coordinate with trusted 3rd party verification partners when manual checks are needed.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, escalating issues when required.
• Maintain verification dashboards, trackers, and MIS reports to support audits and compliance.
• Safeguard sensitive information and uphold strict data protection standards.
• Recommend process enhancements to strengthen automation and compliance.
• Stay informed on evolving digital verification trends, compliance standards, and labor laws.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a background verification company or in a role handling
employee screening and compliance checks.
• Familiarity with digital identity checks, online document validation, and cross-referencing candidate
information with trusted databases.
• Strong experience coordinating with external verification vendors and managing multiple verification
requests simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic tools for tracking, reporting, and dashboards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy while handling large volumes of data.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when dealing with sensitive candidate
information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for clear updates and coordination with internal teams
and partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
