About Us

We are building a conversational voice assistant and scaling to thousands of concurrent calls on an AWS-native platform. You will help shape core services, evolve our LLM/RAG stack, and build reliable, secure, observable systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and own Python/FastAPI microservices (async I/O, WebSockets) for real-time voice/data workflows.
• Model and operate MongoDB/Atlas: schema design, indexes, aggregation, performance tuning, TTL, change streams.
• Integrate third-party APIs (auth, webhooks, retries, idempotency, observability).
• Contribute to LLM features: tool/function calling, structured outputs (Pydantic/JSON Schema), RAG, evaluations, safety.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, add metrics/logs/traces, and support incident response.
• Collaborate across teams; write clear docs/runbooks.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years backend experience with Python (strong) & FastAPI/async frameworks.
• Deep MongoDB expertise (schema design, indexing, aggregation, profiling, tuning; Atlas ops).
• CI/CD, Docker, distributed debugging, excellent communication.
• Proven experience with third-party integrations (auth, rate limits, webhooks, pagination).

LLM/AI Preferred

• Integration with OpenAI/Azure/Bedrock, streaming responses.
• RAG pipelines (chunking, embeddings, vector stores), prompt versioning, structured outputs.
• Evaluation & safety (regression tests, guardrails, PHI redaction, latency/cost tracking).

Nice-to-Have

• Node.js/TypeScript, PostgreSQL/Redis, Kafka/Kinesis/RabbitMQ.
• Real-time comms (SIP/WebRTC), audio streaming, STT/TTS.
• Security (SOC2/HIPAA), secrets management.
• AWS (IAM, VPC, S3, SQS/SNS, API Gateway/ALB, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS/Lambda).
