Backend Engineer

The Core Responsibilities For The Job Include The Following

Backend Development and Systems Design:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
• Architect robust systems to handle large-scale data and high-throughput traffic.
  

Collaboration And Execution

• Work closely with product, design, and frontend teams to define and implement new features.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution architecture.
• Translate business and product requirements into engineering solutions.
  

Code Quality And Engineering Best Practices

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Implement thorough testing and monitoring for services.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth, frequent deployments.
  

Technical Ownership

• Take ownership of core backend modules, including ad creative generation, Campaign cost analysis and breakdown, Internationalization, and multi-region ad support.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and evaluate them for integration into our stack.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in a SaaS or startup environment.
• Strong programming skills in Golang or Python.
• Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs and optimizing SQL queries.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including services like Glue, CloudWatch, or vector databases.
• Solid grasp of scalable architecture, system design, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with unit testing, monitoring, logging, and CI/CD practices.
  

Good To Have

• Exposure to AI/ML technologies, especially LLMs, ControlNet, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience working with ad-tech platforms, particularly around creative automation or campaign performance.
• Prior experience in early-stage startups or fast-paced environments.
