What You'll Own

• Architect, design, and develop large-scale distributed backend systems using

  Node.js

  ,

  Java Spring Boot

  , and

  Python

• Lead module design across WMS, billing, and shipment orchestration systems
• Own service decomposition, data modeling, and performance scaling decisions
• Guide API design, microservice boundaries, event-driven communication, and database schemas
• Collaborate with engineering leads, product managers, and DevOps to ship scalable and resilient features
• Mentor SDE 1s and SDE 2s through design reviews, performance tuning, and hands-on problem solving
• Drive engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and error handling

Must-Have Skills

• 5–8 years in backend engineering with deep hands-on experience in at least one of Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), or Python
• Strong experience in system design, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven communication
• Hands-on experience with large-scale DB design—SQL and NoSQL both
• Proven track record of leading modules or products, not just features
• Expertise in debugging production-grade issues in containerized environments
• A solid grasp of performance bottlenecks, caching strategies, queues, and failure handling

Bonus Points If You Have

• Domain experience in logistics, warehousing, or billing systems
• Designed modules involving order lifecycle management, invoicing, inventory sync, or SLA tracking
• Experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design), CQRS, or event sourcing
• Led engineering efforts in a product company or B2B SaaS platform

Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Preference for candidates with a strong foundation in systems architecture and distributed computing.
