We specialize in community-building video content, YouTube mini-series production, and premium post-production services. Our unique approach combines cinematic storytelling with strategic brand growth, serving B2B and B2C clients ranging from well-funded startups to established companies.

We're seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our growing team in-office and build the technical infrastructure that powers our content operations. Think of yourself as the architect behind the scenes – while our filmmakers craft visual stories, you'll be crafting the digital backbone that makes it all possible. This is an in-office role where you'll collaborate closely with our creative and production teams, ensuring seamless integration between technology and storytelling.

Core Development

• Design and develop robust backend systems using modern frameworks and technologies
• Build and maintain APIs for content management, client portals, and creator dashboards
• Implement video asset management systems and workflow automation tools (because manually organizing terabytes of footage is nobody's favorite hobby)
• Develop sponsorship tracking and revenue management systems
• Create scalable databases for project management, client data, and content analytics

Video Production Support

• Build systems to manage video production workflows from pre-production to delivery
• Develop tools for project tracking, timeline management, and client collaboration
• Implement automated processes for content delivery and distribution
• Create integration points with video editing software and cloud storage solutions (saving editors from the dreaded "file not found" panic)
• Work directly with production teams to understand and optimize technical workflows

Business Operations

• Develop subscription management systems for our creator partnership program
• Build analytics dashboards for tracking engagement, growth metrics, and ROI
• Implement CRM integrations for client management and lead tracking
• Create automated reporting systems that make spreadsheet warriors weep with joy

Technical Skills

• 1+ years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Python, Node.js, Java, or Go)
• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
• Knowledge of API development and RESTful services
• Understanding of video file handling and media processing workflows
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with creative and business teams in person
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment (where "we need this yesterday" is a common phrase)
• Understanding of content creation workflows and media production processes
• Comfortable working in an office environment with direct collaboration

• Experience in media, entertainment, or content creation industries
• Knowledge of video streaming technologies and CDN implementation
• Familiarity with payment processing systems and subscription models
• Experience with analytics and data visualization tools
• Understanding of social media APIs (YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
• Previous work with creator economy platforms or sponsorship management systems
• Bonus points if you've ever had to explain why the server crashed during a client presentation
