Job Title: AVP Pre-Sales (BPM & Insurance Domain)

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales Leadership & Solution Architecture

  • Lead end-to-end pre-sales activities for BPM and digital transformation opportunities.
  • Understand client requirements and design scalable, efficient solutions leveraging platforms such as Appian, Pega, and Camunda.
  • Conduct discovery workshops, map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, and define solution architecture.
  • Prepare and present Proof of Concepts (POCs), solution demos, and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates.
  • Address technical and functional queries, ensuring solutions align with client business objectives.

2. Bid Management (Mandatory Experience)

  • Take complete ownership of RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, pricing inputs, and proposal structuring.
  • Develop value-driven narratives including ROI, cost-benefit analyses, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Ensure proposals comply with regulatory frameworks such as NAIC, HIPAA, Solvency II, GDPR, and region-specific insurance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with sales, delivery, product, and SME teams to create winning proposals.

3. Domain & Technical Expertise

  • Maintain deep understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processespolicy, underwriting, claims, billing, rating, and distribution.
  • Stay updated on InsurTech trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory shifts across US and EMEA markets.
  • Provide subject matter expertise during client discussions and internal strategy sessions.

4. Sales Enablement & Client Engagement

  • Support sales teams with solution presentations, pitch materials, and competitive intelligence.
  • Conduct client meetings, technical workshops, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients during their digital transformation initiatives.
  • Influence deal strategy, positioning, and solution differentiation in competitive scenarios.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (masters preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience

    in Pre-Sales, BPM solutioning, or enterprise consulting.
  • Mandatory experience in P&C insurance

    domain.
  • Strong bid management experience

    with proven success in leading RFP/RFI responses.
  • Solid understanding of BPMN, automation frameworks, integration patterns, and workflow design.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with CRM tools, proposal management tools, and collaboration platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in BPM platforms (Appian, Pega), ITIL, or Six Sigma.
  • Experience working with global delivery models and multi-regional client engagements.
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business outcomes.
