PURPOSE OF POSITION

Need to lead the team of Process Automation Engineering, should handle different projects of Automations for both the plants

Job Responsibility

 Understanding the Automation requirement, Project Plan and concept. Preparation of RFQ,

Vendor evaluation, Quotation study & Evaluation of process.

 Development of Automation system hardware & Software as per the process requirement, Electrical circuit design, Selection of Electrical items, Prepare BoM of electrical items.

 PLC & HMI/LabView/SQL programming for SPMs/Automation line.

 Install &Commission Automation systems & achieve the planned deliverables. Troubleshooting of systems.

 Preparation of Operating Manuals, SOP, training to shop / maintenance persons, Handover to production/maintenance.

 Provide technical solutions to automated processes

 Participate in cross functional team for product failure root cause analysis

 Ensure work instructions creation and training provide to technical staffs on the operation or maintenance of new machines or auxiliary equipment.

 Good knowledge of Sensors Application, Motors /Actuators, Pneumatic, Vision system

 Provide training and guidance to the automation team

 Knowledge of Mitsubishi PLC Programming, UR robotic programming & Keyence vision programming will be an advantage

 Team player, self-motivated and able to follow datelines and able to lead

 Identify cost effective supplier for new Machines.

 Capacity Building to support production line activities.

 Initiate coordinate for process improvements to Improve process capacity and

Productivity which also includes procuring new equipment, upgrading existing equipment, layout changes etc.

 Evaluation of Plant capacity in line to the business demand and to support new business (Capacity for Producing new products)

 Knowledge of pneumatics systems like FESTO, SMC, PARKER etc. and product development testing setups.

 Knowledge of O-ring sealing material selection for air pressure testing and its fixture

development work.
