Automation Specialist

As an Automation Specialist at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications. With your expertise in Selenium, Python, and Robot Framework, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient automation testing processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium, Python, and Robot Framework. - Building and enhancing robust automation frameworks and reusable components. - Collaborating with developers, QA engineers, product teams, and clients to define automation requirements. - Executing automated test cases, analyzing results, and reporting defects. - Integrating automation testing with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). - Maintaining test environments and troubleshooting automation failures. - Communicating effectively with clients, providing regular updates, clarifications, and technical insights. - Documenting automation processes, test strategies, and best practices. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 2+ years of professional experience in automation testing with Selenium WebDriver, Python, and Robot Framework. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and scripting principles. - Hands-on experience building automation frameworks and libraries in Robot Framework. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. - Proficiency with version control systems (Git, SVN). - Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven client-facing experience. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud-based testing platforms, knowledge of performance and security testing methodologies, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in automation testing. The compensation package offered for this role ranges from 4 to 7 LPA based on your experience and skills. The work schedule is from Monday to Saturday, with working hours from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, including alternate Saturdays.,
