About This Opportunity
We are now looking for an Automation Architect to design and implement automation solutions that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support Ericsson’s strategic delivery goals. You will be a part of the BCSS Service Line Operate Service Management Service Architecture team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and contributing to Ericsson's automation strategy by creating scalable, reusable, and impactful automation designs.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
- Develop robust and scalable high-level architectures meeting customer and business needs.
- Design reusable frameworks and modules to improve delivery speed and reusability across units.
- Lead use case creation discussions using data analysis to drive automation penetration.
- Analyze customer requirements and optimize scenarios for efficient infrastructure use.
- Engage in Automation, Analytics, and AI/ML-related solution roadmaps.
- Ensure systematic validation and repeatability in automation outcomes.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in automation and advocate industry best practices.
What You Bring
- Degree in Engineering or Equivalent (ECE/CSE/IT) or MBA.
- 6+ years in automation architecture.
- Strong expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented design.
- Experience working with automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible, UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
- Java programming expertise, with proficiency in Python, Groovy, or C++.
- Familiarity with AI/ML or data science concepts.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux platforms, databases (SQL/PLSQL), scripting languages, and web technologies.
- Telecom domain knowledge is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Key Competencies Technical:
- Automation and orchestration design and integration experience.
- Hands-on programming in Java, Python, Groovy, JavaScript.
- RPA tools experience.
- AI/ML, statistics, and optimization understanding.

- Strong English communication skills.
