Automation Architect

As an Automation Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, reviewing, and approving test strategies for product headlines or features. You will design, develop, and review test automation tools, frameworks, and infrastructure. Your role will involve contributing to the implementation of automation principles across the Engineering team, fostering technology innovation in development and test practices, and supporting the adoption of new technologies and tools. You will be instrumental in driving test effectiveness and efficiencies throughout the team, researching industry trends, and applying best practices in quality engineering. Your proficiency in matrix management will be crucial as you influence teams in different geographies to implement new initiatives and roll out new tools and practices. Additionally, you will build an Automation Tester Pool, mentor and influence QA teams towards long-term capability building goals, and provide consulting services on techniques to achieve quality goals through education, training, coaching, and collaboration. Staying up-to-date with new technologies is paramount in this role. You will be responsible for making recommendations on future directions for quality engineering, applying the latest techniques and industry information as appropriate. Your responsibilities will also include approving tested code and objects for migration to downstream environments, participating in defect triage meetings, providing defect reports to the project team, and engaging in requirements and project document reviews. As an Automation Architect, you will oversee the execution and completion of testing during test cycles, identify and address risks, perform functional testing, as well as performance, scalability, stability, and reliability testing on the system's architecture. You will refine requirements and test cases, produce and maintain test coverage reports, and communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner to the team.,
