Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    The Audit & IR Risk Assessment Support role provides operational, documentation, and analytical support for internal audits, compliance reviews, and industrial relations (IR) risk assessments. Working under the Lead – Audit & IR Risk Assessment, this role ensures accurate data collation, timely reporting, and smooth execution of audit and compliance activities, while assisting in the monitoring of IR risks and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Audit & Compliance Support Collect, validate, and maintain data required for internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments. Prepare checklists, trackers, and supporting documentation for audit readiness. Assist in compiling audit findings, action trackers, and follow-up reports. IR Risk Assessment Assistance Support monitoring of employee relations issues, grievance data, and IR case logs. Assist in preparing IR risk reports and compliance trackers for BU HR/IR teams. Document outcomes of IR investigations and ensure proper record-keeping. Governance & Reporting Maintain compliance dashboards, risk logs, and status trackers as directed by the Lead. Generate periodic reports on audit progress, risk closures, and IR incidents. Ensure timely submission of data for leadership and regulatory reporting. Coordination & Documentation Coordinate with BU SPOCs, HR, Legal, and Compliance teams for audit inputs. Support engagement with external auditors, consultants, or regulators by providing documentation. Maintain the knowledge repository for audit and IR risk documentation. Continuous Improvement Capture lessons learned from audits and compliance reviews. Suggest improvements to tracking and reporting processes for efficiency.

Technical Competencies


    Data-Driven Insights: Using data to support HR strategies and initiatives, such as workforce planning and employee engagement programs, is essential.,HR Software Proficiency,Process Improvement: HR professionals should be able to identify areas for improvement in HR processes and implement solutions using technology.,Talent Management Systems (TMS): TMS platforms are used to manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to performance management and development.

Qualifications and Experience


    Internal Stakeholders: Lead – Audit & IR Risk Assessment Tower Lead – LEA BU HR & IR Teams GCC Legal & Compliance Teams Risk/Compliance SPOCs in functions External Stakeholders: External Auditors & Assurance Consultants Statutory & Labour Regulators (as part of compliance support) Legal/IR Consultants (for specific cases) Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in Commerce, Law, HR, or Business Administration. Certification or coursework in audit, compliance, or labour law preferred. Work Experience: 2–5 years of experience in audit support, compliance tracking, or HR/IR operations. Exposure to labour law compliance, risk assessments, or audit processes desirable. Familiarity with Excel, reporting dashboards, and compliance tools.
