Audit Executive

Role Overview As an Audit Executive, you will be involved in executing and managing a wide range of audit and assurance assignments across diverse clients. The role requires a hands-on approach to audit execution along with the ability to guide and review the work of junior team members. You will work closely with clients, applying accounting standards, auditing standards, and applicable laws to deliver high-quality audit outcomes. Key Responsibilities - Execute statutory audits, internal audits, management audits, and review assignments for Private Limited Companies and LLPs. - Prepare and finalize financial statements in accordance with the applicable laws, accounting standards, and regulatory guidelines. - Be part of audit teams conducting one-off inventory verification, fixed asset verification, and statutory bank branch audits. - Lead, supervise, and review the work of article assistants/junior staff for assigned engagements. - Draft audit reports, observations, and management letters with clarity and professional judgment. - Apply Auditing Standards, Companies Act, LLP Act, and other relevant laws while planning and executing audits. - Perform analytical review and financial analysis to identify risks, inconsistencies, and control gaps. - Communicate audit findings confidently and professionally with clients and auditees. - Continuously update knowledge on accounting, auditing standards, and regulatory changes during audit execution. Knowledge & Skill Requirements The ideal candidate should possess a 360-degree understanding of the following areas: - Strong knowledge of Accounting principles and standards - Working knowledge of compliances applicable to Companies and LLPs, including:      Income Tax      TDS       GST - Understanding of audit documentation, reporting, and drafting - Willingness to learn and practically apply Auditing Standards and applicable laws - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Decent yet confident communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients - Learning & Growth Mindset - Belief in continuous learning as an essential part of the audit profession - Proactive approach to updating technical knowledge while handling live assignments Location & Travel - Clients are primarily based in Mumbai / Navi Mumbai - No outstation travel involved
