Job description . A material price validation auditor ensures that the costs of raw materials and components are accurate, fair, and compliant with company policies and vendor agreements. This specialized internal audit function focuses on procurement, cost management, and inventory processes to identify errors, fraud, and areas for cost optimization . Duties and responsibilities Validation and review Conduct audits to verify the cost of materials, comparing purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation. Review and reconcile inventory records against physical stock counts to investigate discrepancies. Assess vendor performance regarding pricing accuracy and quality of delivered materials. Verify that pricing aligns with current market trends for the industry. Compliance and controls Examine internal control procedures to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and legal requirements. Support the implementation of corrective measures. Reporting and analysis Prepare detailed audit reports for management. Analyze and publish monthly reports on cost elements Preferred candidate profile : Good communication skills, strong in raw materials price negotiations, presentation skills. Good computer knowledge. Prepare the materials audit reports and submit to management on time. Immediate joiner preferred.
