Job Purpose: As the Assistant Manager Talent Acquisition, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent in alignment with the organization’s goals. You will partner with business stakeholders, and manage end-to-end hiring processes with the support of the Sr. Manager. This role demands a strategic mindset, hands-on execution, data-driven decision-making, and strong stakeholder management to ensure high-quality talent acquisition outcomes. Roles & Responsibilities: Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and translate them into effective sourcing strategies Oversee and drive the entire recruitment life cycle from requisition to onboarding, ensuring quality, speed, and a positive candidate experience Lead calibration discussions with stakeholders to fine-tune role requirements and hiring benchmarks Supervise sourcing efforts across multiple platforms and recruiting channels, including job portals, social media, and internal referrals Drive, monitor, and enhance the effectiveness of the employee referral program Create and manage compelling job postings and recruitment campaigns to attract the right talent Conduct and guide screening and selection processes, including interviews and assessments Mentor and support junior recruiters in achieving hiring targets and maintaining process compliance Negotiate offers, manage documentation, and oversee pre-joining and onboarding formalities Ensure smooth coordination for induction and handover to HR operations or business Analyze hiring metrics and publish periodic reports and dashboards for leadership review Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to talent acquisition initiatives or projects Functional & Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data analysis, reporting, and documentation In-depth knowledge of recruitment tools and platforms (Naukri, LinkedIn, Monster, etc.) Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRMS tools is preferred Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and hiring best practices Other Requirement: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Minimum 3–5 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior role Experience in bulk hiring and familiarity with BPO/ITES recruitment is highly desirable Proven ability to manage multiple hiring mandates simultaneously People Skills & Competencies Strong planning, organizing, and time management capabilities Ability to make data-driven decisions and exercise sound judgment Team collaboration and leadership skills Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building abilities High level of accountability and execution focus
