Elevate is recruiting an
Associate
for our Finance & Accounting team. As an Associate you will working on expense reports, processing vendor invoices & overall billing.
Specifically, The Associate Will
- Process AP Invoices as per predefined SOPs and guidelines.
- Process AR Invoices as per predefined SOPs and guidelines.
- Review, verify and process AP & AR invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies.
- Obtain approval from authorised person before processing invoices.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments.
- Review & prepare expense reports in expense tool and submit for disbursement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client billing records & documentation.
- Handle queries from internal stakeholders and vendors received in AP mailbox.
- Work on implications of GST/VAT/Sales Tax in supplier invoices.
- Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Handle urgent check/ACH/EFT payment requests – uploading payment transactions in the tool.
- Follow-up with approvers to approve pending expense reports.
- Time entry of Fee Earners into timekeeping tool for client/matter billable and non-billable time.

- Have good knowledge of accounting and practice management tools using by law firms worldwide.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage all stakeholder expectations and customer demands. You know how and when to influence.
- Possess strong billing and accounting knowledge.
- Possess extensive experience in handling business and finance operations in international firms, preferably law firms.
- Can work collaboratively with team members to ensure the provision of first-class support services to customer.
- Can adapt any process change in minimal time and can deal with pressures of high volumes.
- Capable of multi-tasking when needed.
- Flexible in approach to increase of volume outside of shift hours.
- Effective time management skills.
- Professional approach to problem solving.
- Good decision-making abilities Keen eye for detail.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- BCOM, MBA in Finance preferred
