Assistant Sales Manager

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for forklifts, spare parts, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).
• Generate new leads and convert them into business opportunities through cold calls, client visits, and networking.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat and referral business.
• Coordinate with service and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation of forklifts.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms in line with company policies.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review.
• Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy cash flow.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile Engineering or BBA/MBA in Marketing (preferred).
• Experience: 3–6 years in capital equipment / material handling equipment / industrial sales.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of forklift operations, specifications, and industrial applications.
• Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
• Team collaboration and leadership qualities

Compensation:

As per industry standards (Fixed + Incentive + Allowances)
