Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with experience in the industrial sector to promote and sell our products/services to manufacturing units, warehouses, plants, and other industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen, excellent client handling skills, and proven success in B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Lead Generation
  • Identify new business opportunities in the industrial sector.
  • Conduct market research and cold calls to generate leads.
  • Visit client sites for product presentations and consultations.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers in industries like manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, etc.
  • Provide post-sales support and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Target Achievement
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Track and report sales performance using CRM or Excel tools.
  • Product Knowledge
  • Understand technical specifications and applications of industrial products (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, machines, automation systems).
  • Explain product benefits and recommend suitable solutions to clients.
  • Proposal & Negotiation
  • Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and negotiation strategies.
  • Ensure timely closure of deals and contract finalization.
  • Market Intelligence
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Share insights with management for product and strategy improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or any technical field (preferred). MBA/PGDM in Marketing is an advantage.
  • Experience: 1–4 years in B2B industrial sales (e.g., MHE, industrial equipment, tools, automation, etc.)

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good technical understanding of industrial products
  • Confidence in field sales and client meetings
  • Working knowledge of MS Office & CRM tools
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory
  • Valid driving license (preferred)
