1. *Industry Familiarity*

* *Material handling equipment*, capital goods, or industrial machinery servicing.

* Exposure to *service-based sales* and *AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract)* models is a plus.

2. *Work Experience*

* *7–12 years* in operations or service management.

* Proven track record in *managing technical teams* and coordinating *field service calls*.

* Experience setting up *inventory control systems* (ERP, barcode tracking, reorder levels).

* Knowledge of *customer service escalation handling*.

3. *Core Skills*

* *Inventory Management:* Implementing reorder systems, reducing stock-outs, and avoiding overstock.

* *Team Training & Technical Development:* Ability to upskill technicians through structured training modules and on-site mentoring.

* *Outstanding Payments Recovery:* Coordinating with accounts & sales for faster collections without souring client relations.

* *Service Process Optimization:* Reduce downtime between issue reporting and solution delivery.

* *Vendor & Supplier Coordination:* Ensure timely parts procurement.

4. *Personality & Work Style*

* Calm under pressure, *decisive, and **solution-focused*.

* Hands-on — willing to step in on-site if needed.

* Strong communication skills for *both customers and technicians*.

* Process-minded — loves checklists, tracking dashboards, and daily progress reviews.
