Will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the customer base for Domestic Air Freight (Door-to-Door) services. This role requires developing and executing sales strategies, meeting or exceeding revenue targets, and building strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in domestic air freight, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics industry.
o Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the market reach in the domestic air freight sector.
o Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay informed on industry trends and competitors.
o Identify, approach, and acquire new clients while managing relationships with existing customers.
o Generate leads and convert prospects into customers through targeted approaches, presentations, and negotiations.
o Engage with customers to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored air freight solutions.
o Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring profitability targets are met.
o Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure deals that align with company objectives.
o Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
o Address any customer issues promptly to ensure high service satisfaction and repeat business.
o Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics and revenue forecasts.
o Prepare regular sales reports, identifying areas for improvement and adjustments in strategy.
o Develop and Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
o Ensure all sales activities and client interactions are documented and comply with company policies and industry regulations.
o Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue and profitability targets.
o Implement client retention strategies and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services.
o Provide feedback to management on service and product improvements based on client feedback and market demands.
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
o Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in sales within the logistics, preferably in Domestics air freight (D2D).
o Strong understanding of the domestic air freight industry and logistics solutions.
o Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
o Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in D2D domestic air freight.
o Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
