Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BE)
• Postgraduate degree in Construction Management or Project Management (preferred)

Technical Proficiency:

• Strong understanding of planning concepts and the project life cycle.

• Proven experience in Planning & Microsoft Project (MSP) is mandatory

  ; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other project management software required.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in project management within the real estate sector, preferably in luxury residential projects.
• Experience in project coordination, construction management, or interior fit out.

Key Responsibilities

1. Internal Communication and Protocols

Collaborate with design managers, construction teams, procurement, and other stakeholders to improve communication, reporting, and documentation protocols, fostering best practices that enhance simplicity and effectiveness.

2. Project Scheduling

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure the timely completion of design, engineering, procurement, and construction activities in accordance with established timelines.

3. Reporting

Generate periodic status reports, creating weekly snapshots that outline action plans and critical updates for stakeholders.

4. Supervision and Compliance

Oversee Construction Managers to ensure compliance with building and safety codes while monitoring construction progress and worker productivity.

5. Team Coordination

Lead internal and external teams, including consultants, ensuring seamless coordination across design, construction, procurement, and sales activities.

6. Cross Functional Assistance

Provide coordination and assistance among design managers, value engineers, site teams, and procurement, sales, legal, and new business teams to effectively address project related scopes.

7. Cost and Time Efficiency

Identify and implement cost saving strategies throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases of projects.

8. Team Management

Assist in the hiring, mentoring, and management of the internal design management team by setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting monthly performance reviews.

9. Budget Management

Evaluate project budgets and oversee consultant payments to ensure financial adherence and accountability.

10. Site Coordination

Ensure timely resolution of site related Requests for Information (RFIs) concerning design and engineering aspects.

11. Risk Assessment

Identify potential project risks and issues, proposing solutions and recommendations to mitigate delays or complications.
