Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems with the overall building design. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise on MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection. Plan Review: Review and approve MEP drawings, specifications, and other project documentation for accuracy and compliance. Cost and Schedule Management: Manage project budgets and schedules for MEP design and implementation. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve potential design issues and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner. Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior engineers and drafters, providing technical guidance and support. Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. BIM Implementation: Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and technologies to enhance design and coordination. Compliance: Ensure that MEP designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Required Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Extensive experience in MEP systems design and project management. Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge and experience with BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools. Technical Skills: Expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems design. Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
