Job Summary
PetroBot Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic, strategically driven
Assistant Manager – Business Development
to expand our market presence in the
Southern region of India
. This remote position focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities in the
Oil & Gas
and
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
sectors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
3 years’ experience in business development
specifically within the South region and a proven track record in Oil & Gas or NDT sales.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies, including lead generation and targeted prospecting.
- Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets by securing new client engagements.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Design, and Technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key clients in the South region.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular client meetings and performance reviews to ensure continued satisfaction and business retention.
Operational Support
- Prepare and submit tender documents, quotations, and competitive bid proposals.
- Monitor project execution timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.
- Support revenue optimization initiatives and manage strategic accounts.
Strategic Planning & Industry Awareness
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes in the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors.
- Identify opportunities to leverage PetroBot's products and services to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to inform business strategy.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance, pipeline status, and market dynamics.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, specifically in the Oil & Gas or NDT sectors in the South Indian region.
- Strong understanding of business development strategies and B2B sales processes.
- Proven experience in preparing and managing tenders and bid submissions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and basic project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
