Job Description

Job Title : Assistant Manager, Presales​ Location : Remote​ Reporting to : Presales Manager​ Employment : Full time/Permanent​ Primary Job Purpose​ To support the Sales team in achieving business growth by developing high-quality sales enablement content such as proposals, pitch decks, case studies, and capability documents tailored to client needs. The role also involves conducting in-depth research on industry trends, client segments, and competitors, and generating actionable insights that help shape strategic priorities and strengthen market positioning.​ Brief Description of Tasks​ Engaging with Sales through the sales cycle to uncover insights into the potential client’s challenges.​ Creating proposals and pitch decks that accurately capture these challenges and provide the right solution.​ Developing tools for engagement strategies (e.g., case studies, whitepapers, capability documents, etc.) throughout the sales cycle, as needed, to help the client perceive BSC as a true partner and collaborator.​ Augmenting the Sales team’s understanding of the solution / product.​ Conducting competitor and industry research and writing insightful reports that summarise the findings.​ Predicting Sales’ requirements (through structured, timely discussions with them) and creating templated content for their use.​ Auditing existing collateral and refreshing or deleting it.​ Improving the current operations through innovative ways of working.​ Health and Safety​ To take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and of other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work; and to cooperate with British Safety Council so far as is necessary to enable it to ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of all its employees. ​ ​ To ensure that risk assessments are carried out in line with British Safety Council’s procedures and report any issues to the Health and Safety Representative.​ Skills & Qualifications​ Ess e ntial​ Exceptional written communication, specifically in creating sales enablement content​Rese arch and analytical skills to carry-out competitor and industry research and derive appropriate insights from it​ Strong interpersonal skills to engage and work with cross-functional teams ​Excellent time management and work planning skills ​Excellent attention to detail for high-quality outputs ​Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and business needs​ Excellent knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel​ Desirable​ Visual storytelling to create engaging and persuasive pitch decks​ Highly emotionally intelligent; ability to self-regulate to maintain professionalism under pressure​ Experience​ Essential​ Minimum 5 years in Sales or Presales roles with some content creation responsibilities​ Behaviour Competence​ Commitment to achieving important social change ​Ability to think systemically ​Understands time critical activities and importance of work to clients and stakeholders ​Aware of the importance of good presentation ​Commercially astute ​Self-motivated with a pro-active approach, and enjoys challenges ​Communicative, responsive, supportive, flexible ​Good judgement, able to appreciate different sensitivities, decisive ​Diplomatic, persuasive, excellent interpersonal skills, team player ​Open to ideas, keen to learn and continually improve ​Company behavioural framework ​Teamwork ​Communication ​Leadership ​Enhancing Performance ​Creativity and change ​Personal Effectiveness Show more Show less
