Role: Assistant Manager Legal Location: Chattarpur, Delhi Experience: 5 - 7 years Role Summary The candidate will be a part of the Legal team of SportsBaazi, working closely with management and internal business teams. The candidate will be responsible for providing support in Contract Management, Litigation Management, IP Management, Dispute Resolution, Managing Compliance, and working independently on assigned projects in collaboration with other team members. Key Responsibilities: 1. Contract Management: · Vetting, drafting, negotiating, and finalizing and closing various contracts and other transactional documents in close coordination with respective departments. 2. Litigation Management: · Coordinating with external counsels, keeping a track of the progress of all the litigations, vetting various petitions, pleadings, writs, affidavits, counter affidavits, appeals, miscellaneous applications, affidavits, civil or criminal complaints, and notices. · Maintaining MIS, preparing, highlighting, and updating higher management of the Company regarding the status of the litigation. 3. Legal Research: · Advising on day-to-day legal queries raised by internal departments, coordinating with external lawyers to seek opinions on complex legal matters. · Research, analyze, and identify applicable laws and amendments therein, having legal risks and implications, which may potentially affect the Company’s business and prospects, and prepare memos or position statements to keep the senior management of all business verticals informed of such laws and amendments/developments. 4. IP Management: · Manage, Monitor and maintain IP portfolios, including renewal deadlines · Support litigation or enforcement actions involving the company’s IP. · Maintaining IP tracker The candidate must: · Be a law graduate i.e. LL.B. from a recognized University in India. · Have a minimum of 5 years of total post-qualification experience. · Be working in legal capacity within a fast-paced, fast-evolving, and dynamic environment. · Be able to work independently and identify and remedy complex legal issues with a minimum amount of supervision. Competencies/Skills: · Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. · Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and within very tight timelines. · Manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.
