Assistant Manager - HR Operations (Male)

Manufacturing / Engineering

Key Result Areas for the Role:

  • Ensure all HR records are kept in order as well as to assist Managers in HR Operations
  • Ensure on time processing of employee requests
  • Seek to improve employee satisfaction by actively involving in sorting employee related grievances.
  • Provide support to supervisors and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staff.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support senior manager HR in setting HR budgets
  • Manage employee attrition, analyze exit interviews and provide feedback to management.
  • Coordinate with branches for all HR requirements
  • Ensure implementation of Escon HR policies across the organisation

Hr Policies:

  • Formulation of HR Policies.
  • Updation of current Policies as required.
  • Maintain all personnel policies and procedures and provide guidance and interpretation to staff.

System & Process Development:

  • Developing new processes and making modification to existing systems to improve overall efficiency.

Employee On boarding:

  • Responsible for completing the on-board formalities for the new joiners.
  • Required to conduct reference check of all the candidates who are expected to join Escon Elevators.
  • Collect and maintain all the documents of new joiners.
  • Responsible for regularly updating of files.
  • Responsible for preparing the job responsibility of employees currently working with the organization as well as that of expected joiners.

Employee Grievances:

  • Monitoring and updating the HR issues at Branch.
  • Provide basic counseling to staff who have performance related obstacles.
  • Resolving and escalating employee grievances as and when required.

Employee database management:

  • Create and maintain employee master
  • Preparation and updating of job descriptions
  • Support in implementation of HRMS

Performance Management:

  • Implement organization performance management related policies and processes
  • Coordinate with HODs for completion of quarterly and annual appraisals
  • Design and manage incentive plan based on performance
  • Handling documentation related to employee performance management.
  • Ensure appraisals are done on time
  • Ensure that the results of appraisals are analysed and shared with the Management

Employee Exit /Attrition

  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Understand and record reasons for exit and devise solution to minimize employee attrition.
  • Attend staff meetings to provide, avail and update information, when necessary.

Reports to be submitted

  • Daily Work report and Attendance
  • Weekly: HR MIS, HR Development
  • Monthly: HR MIS, Branch MIS
