Assistant Manager

Join EY as an Assurance Assistant Manager where you will be the main point of contact from GDS for tasks assigned by global client-serving assurance teams, ensuring timeliness and quality of deliverables along with managing day-to-day operations of engagements. Key Responsibilities: - Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality work in line with global team expectations. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of EY Global Audit Methodology (GAM) while reviewing procedures performed by GDS staff. - Develop and maintain relationships with key EY Global counterparts and embed Quality and Risk Management procedures into engagement teams" work. - Manage work flow, allocate resources, monitor performance, and discuss operational matters with assurance teams. - Standardize review processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and motivate GDS team members. - Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback/training, and lead by example. Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) freshers - 1+ years post-qualification experience with CA/ACCA/CPA - Experience in top-tier accounting firms focused on external or Assurance reviews - Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook - Interest in business and commerciality Additional Company Details (if present): EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic global delivery network operating across six locations.
