Company Description We are a purpose-led clothing brand, built over the last 5 years with a small, focused team. Based in Mumbai, we believe in conscious growth, thoughtful design, and doing meaningful work. We are currently a lean team of three , and we’re looking for a self-driven Assistant Manager who can take ownership, work independently, and grow alongside the Founder as the brand enters its next phase. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager, located in Mumbai, India. You will work directly with the Founder and be expected to think, plan, and execute . The Assistant Manager will oversee daily operations, marketing plan, coordinate team activities, monitor growth, and ensure objectives are met effectively. Location : Chembur East, Mumbai Responsibilities Marketing & Growth Plan and execute marketing initiatives across Instagram, email, website, and digital campaigns Coordinate with freelancers (designers, photographers, performance marketers, pr managers content creators) Track performance and suggest improvements and strategies Support launches, pop-ups, collaborations, and partnerships Operations & Coordination Own day-to-day coordination across vendors, freelancers, and timelines Ensure deliverables are met with minimal supervision Assist with operational systems Identify gaps and improve processes as the brand grows Business Building Act as a thought partner to the Founder, bringing ideas, structure, and follow-through Take initiative on business growth ideas and execute them end-to-end Handle partner and customer communication when required Qualifications Graduation/ Masters in Marketing/Mass Media/Fashion/ Communications Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in Marketing / Fashion / Business Proven ability to work independently and take ownership in a small team Clear written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Notion, or similar How to Apply Send your resume and a short note answering this question: “Why do you enjoy working at a startup?” 📩 info@somethingsustainable.in Subject: Assistant Manager – Marketing & Operations
