Primary Skills :

Looking for reliable personnel to ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety laws. Will also be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace. Must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards and be able to discover opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs.


The key responsibilities of the role include

  • To develop and strengthen safety culture at site and drive for incident free operation.
  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
  • Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
  • Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
  • Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
  • Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
  • Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics
  • Regular tool box talk and behavioural base safety training is imparted on shop floor and external agencies workmen.
  • Preparation of the On-site and Off–site Emergency plan and Take care of all formalities for Fire NOC
  • Look after CCA Amendment from GPCB. Monthly Patrak on GPCB site every month
  • Responsible for maintaining of 40 KLD STP plant operations and Hazardous waste disposal
  • Monitoring of First Aid, Non-reportable and Reportable incidents
  • Ensure periodical medical examination as per the legal requirement
  • Provides for motivation and familiarization of all company personnel respecting the Importance of complying with company system procedures and all safety equipment provided
  • Carries out analysis of accident / Incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans
  • Provides technical support to management on any safety related subjects
  • Carries out any In- house safety training
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.

Strong knowledge of various laws like Factories Act, Water Prevention Act, Air Prevention Act, Fire Prevention Act, Hazardous Waste Management Rules etc.
