Key Responsibilities

  • POD Collection & Verification

    : Ensure timely and accurate POD collection with proper documentation.
  • Vendor Bill Verification

    : Cross-check vendor bills for discrepancies and ensure accurate billing.
  • Timely Bill Collection

    : Ensure on-time processing and reconciliation of vendor bills.
  • Document & Vehicle Management

    : Ensure proper documentation and vehicle readiness.
  • Vendor & Driver Coordination

    : Coordinate with vendors and drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Vehicle & Driver Health Checks

    : Monitor vehicle condition and driver well-being.
  • Environmental Monitoring

    : Stay informed on conditions that may affect operations and notify relevant teams.
  • Daily Reporting

    : Provide updates on vehicle status, deliveries, and any issues encountered.
  • Timely Delivery & Documentation

    : Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule with proper documentation.
  • Customer Relationship Management

    : Provide delivery updates and resolve transport-related queries.
  • Issue Resolution

    : Resolve operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, and billing discrepancies.
  • Safety & Compliance

    : Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Route Optimization:

     Create efficient routes to minimize delays and reduce costs while maximizing vehicle capacity.
  • Vendor Monitoring:

     Regularly evaluate vendors on delivery timelines, service, and cost-effectiveness, taking corrective actions when needed.
  • Driver Training:

     Ensure drivers are trained on safety, customer service, and procedures, with ongoing performance evaluations.
  • Cargo Management:

     Oversee safe loading, unloading, and handling of goods to prevent damage.
  • Environmental Compliance:

     Ensure vehicles meet emissions standards and promote eco-friendly practices.
  • Technology Use:

     Leverage transportation management software and GPS systems for efficiency.
  • Crisis Management:

     Implement plans for emergencies to minimize disruptions.
  • Inventory Coordination:

     Work with dispatch teams for timely dispatch and tracking of goods.
  • Cost Control:

     Monitor transportation costs, identifying savings opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

     Ensure operations meet local & national regulations.
  • Customer Feedback:

     Gather feedback to drive service improvements.
  • Department Collaboration:

     Coordinate with departments to align transport with business goals.
  • Risk Management:

     Identify and mitigate risks like weather, accidents, and theft.
  • Insurance Management:

     Ensure appropriate insurance for vehicles and cargo
