Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager

As a part of our team at Sika, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to tap into new market segments in alignment with the Global and Regional Business segment strategies. Your responsibilities will include increasing market intelligence, updating customer and competitor data, and following the overall sales process to meet or exceed targets. Taking ownership of key accounts, you will be in charge of developing and executing the account strategy while ensuring alignment with the business unit's key account strategy. You will oversee the establishment of a comprehensive database and processes to gather, update, maintain, and evaluate market trends, product applications, service needs, competitor intelligence, and more to identify new business opportunities. Developing and implementing sector-specific specification selling tools and supporting sales with necessary resources will also be a key aspect of your role. Collaboration with the Technical Service team is essential to ensure the development of applicators, defect-free installations, effective resolution of product complaints, product training for customers, and staying updated on new application technologies. Your commitment to maintaining safe practices at driving, project sites, and offices, for yourself and others, will be paramount. To excel in this role, you must be well-versed in all our products and maintain strong relationships with consultants and architects in Maharashtra. Additionally, you should hold a BE in Civil Engineering along with an MBA in Marketing and have at least 5 years of experience in a Specifications role within the Construction Chemicals or Building Materials industry, specifically in the Ahmedabad region.
