We are hiring an experienced and driven professional for the role of AGM/DGM – Procurement to lead Contracting and Project Package Procurement including Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, EHS , and Capex categories at our Kharagpur location. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end service contracts, capital equipment procurement, and contractor/vendor development, with a focus on large-scale plant expansion and utility projects. Key Responsibilities: Contract & Service Procurement Capex Procurement Vendor Development & Evaluation Cross-Functional Coordination Compliance & Risk Management Cost Optimization & Efficiency Offered Designation: AGM / DGM – Procurement Experience Range: 12–18 Years Key Requirements: Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Mandatory); MBA in Supply Chain/Operations (Preferred) Experience: 12–18 years in Procurement with at least 5 years in managing large-scale contract procurement for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil , and Utility packages. Industry Exposure: Must be from heavy industries like Iron & Steel, Metals, Power, Engineering, Cement, Glass, or Chemicals. Mandatory Expertise: Contract Management (AMCs, Utility & Plant Material Handling Services, EPC) Project Procurement (Capex, Equipment, Heavy Machinery) Strong understanding of technical specifications & tendering process. Industry Experience: From heavy industries such as Iron & Steel, Power, Cement, Glass, Chemical , or Metals & Mining . Skills & Competencies: Strong negotiation and commercial acumen ERP systems proficiency (SAP/Oracle or equivalent) Vendor management and sourcing expertise Project coordination and contract finalization capabilities Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills Knowledge of relevant statutory and safety compliance standards Show more Show less
