Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to manage and expand our welding consumables business in the Gujarat Region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling key accounts, dealer networks, industrial clients, and ensuring consistent growth for flux cored wires, MIG wires, SAW wires, and other Ultramet products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a regional sales strategy for Gujarat in alignment with company goals
• Manage and expand dealer/distributor network across industrial cities in Gujarat
• Drive B2B industrial sales and establish relationships with fabrication companies, OEMs, and EPC contractors
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and oversee trial runs at customer sites
• Liaise with client purchase departments for vendor registrations and approvals
• Ensure timely collections and follow-ups on payments
• Prepare and submit daily visit reports and monthly sales forecasts
• Stay updated on competitor pricing and market strategies
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries
• Represent the company in exhibitions, seminars, and technical events across the region

Requirements:

• Graduate in Engineering / Diploma (Mechanical / Metallurgy preferred)
• MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sales or welding consumables
• Well-connected with fabrication units and engineering industries in Gujarat
• Strong understanding of MIG, SAW, FCAW processes and products
• Self-driven, result-oriented, and strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel extensively within Gujarat
