About the Role:


The Area Sales Manager in the Building Material Industry is responsible for promoting and selling products within a designated geographical area. This role involves developing relationships with dealers, architects, contractors, and end-users to drive sales growth. A deep understanding of ceramic products, market trends, and effective sales strategies is crucial for success.


Job Requirements:


· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

· Proven experience in sales within the building materials industry.

· Strong knowledge of ceramic or building materials and their applications.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to travel within the assigned area.


Job Description:


Sales and Business Development: Drive sales strategies to meet revenue targets, pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and market research, and foster strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers.


Product Knowledge: Master the company's product line and provide training to clients, dealers, and sales teams.


Market Analysis: Monitor trends, competitors, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.


Customer Relationship Management: Build relationships with architects, contractors, builders, and designers, addressing inquiries and offering technical support.


Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare sales reports and collaborate with the sales manager to analyze data and refine strategies.


Promotional Activities: Lead promotional events, trade shows, and product launches in collaboration with marketing to enhance brand visibility.


Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate terms and ensure smooth contract management for timely delivery and payments.


Customer Feedback & Improvement: Gather insights from customers and collaborate with product teams for continuous improvement.
