Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Distribution Management

  :
• Drive primary and secondary sales across assigned territory.
  
• Manage and expand distributor/dealer network in Punjab.
  
• Monitor stock levels, order cycles, and ensure availability of SKUs across channels.
  

• Market Development

  :
• Identify and onboard new retail/wholesale accounts in the non-veg/frozen category.
  
• Work closely with HORECA clients (hotels, restaurants, catering) for institutional sales.
  
• Increase product visibility and brand awareness in modern trade and general trade.
  

• Team Handling

  :
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Executives and Territory Sales Officers.
  
• Set sales targets and review performance regularly.
  

• Market Intelligence

  :
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends.
  
• Provide feedback to marketing and product teams on consumer preferences and new product opportunities.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Experience

  : 48 years in sales, preferably in

  Frozen/Chilled Meat

  ,

  Poultry

  ,

  Dairy

  ,

  Pet Food

  , or related FMCG sectors.

• Regional Knowledge

  : Strong understanding of

  Punjab's market dynamics

  , consumer behavior, and distribution landscape.

• Skills

  :
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
  
• Strong network of distributors, retailers, and HORECA clients in the region.
  
• Ability to work independently and drive results.
