Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding dealer and distributor networks, and strengthening market presence for PVC boards, laminates, and acrylic sheets within the assigned territory. The role focuses on channel sales, market development, team management, and achieving assigned revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for PVC, laminate, and acrylic products
• Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans to increase market penetration
• Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors, dealers, carpenters, architects, and fabricators
• Drive primary and secondary sales and ensure proper stock rotation
• Conduct regular market visits and joint calls with sales executives
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product positioning
• Implement promotional schemes, product launches, and branding activities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and key customers
• Ensure timely collections and adherence to company credit policies
• Prepare and submit MIS reports, sales forecasts, and market intelligence
• Coordinate with logistics and operations for smooth order fulfillment
• Handle customer complaints and resolve market issues effectively

Qualifications

• Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline

Experience

• 1-3 years of sales experience
• Minimum 1-3 years in a similar role within PVC / laminate / acrylic / plywood / interior materials industry

Industry Preference

• PVC Boards, Laminates, Acrylic Sheets
• Interior & Furniture Materials
• Building Materials / Surface Solutions
