Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Area Manager to lead and manage the Agency Channel within Mumbai (Central & Navi Mumbai). This role demands strong leadership, relationship management, and strategic planning capabilities. Key Responsibilities Business Development: Drive health insurance sales through agency partners and ensure achievement of assigned targets (premium, persistency, etc.). Develop strategies to expand and strengthen the agency channel in the assigned area. Team Management: Handle a team of Unit Managers & Branch Managers. Monitor performance, provide coaching, and ensure team productivity. Recruitment & Training: Recruit qualified team members and develop their capabilities through regular training and mentoring. Relationship Management: Build strong professional relationships with agents and agency partners. Provide consistent support and motivation to drive retention and loyalty. Operations & Compliance: Ensure timely reporting, policy issuance, and adherence to company and regulatory guidelines. Monitor P&L and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize profitability. Market Intelligence: Keep track of competitor activities and market trends to adapt and strategize accordingly.
