Job Profile : Thisposition of Employee Relations will be responsible for designing andexecuting a comprehensive Employee Relations strategy across thecompany, ensuring consistent, high-quality ER practices in line with corporateobjectives. This position will lead the ER function across all plants, providing leadership on industrial relations, Labour management, grievancehandling, legal compliance, and workforce engagement initiatives. As a keyleader in the Center of Excellence, you will work closely with seniorleadership, plant HR teams, and external stakeholders to create and implementpolicies, strategies, and frameworks that foster a positive work environment, resolve disputes efficiently, and ensure legal compliance across alloperational units. Manager/ Manager No. of Posts: One Department: Corporate Human Resource Reporting to: Lead HR Qualifications: Essential : Post-graduate degree or diplomain Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, IndustrialRelations, or MSW (2 years Full-Time) from a reputed institution.Knowledge of labor laws is essential. Desired : Degree or Diploma in LaborLaw or any additional certifications in industrial relations, HR, or legalcompliance. Experience: Around 5-10 years ofexperience in Employee Relations , particularly inthe Manufacturing sector , with experience overseeing a largeworkforce (1000+ employees). RoleOverview:- Proventrack record of managing ER and IR functions across multiple plants . KeyResponsibilities: StrategicLeadership in Employee Relations : Develop and implementa corporate ER strategy aligned with the companys business goals andvalues. Provide expert ER guidance and thoughtleadership to senior management and HR teams at both corporate and plantlevels. Identify industry trends, regulatorychanges, and evolving best practices to continually evolve the ER strategy. IndustrialRelations (IR) Management : Lead efforts to ensure cordialindustrial relations across all plants and prevent potential labor unrestthrough proactive planning. Create frameworks for grievancemanagement, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and fairly, withconsistent communication across all levels. Develop and refine laborintelligence capabilities to identify early signals of industrialrelations issues and address them before escalation. LegalCompliance & Statutory Requirements : Ensure the companyscompliance with all applicable labor laws, statutory regulations, andindustry-specific labor requirements at a corporate level. Lead audits and ensurethat statutory documentation is in order, minimizing legal risks andensuring compliance across multiple locations. Develop and implement ER policiesthat align with legal requirements, while also promoting best practices foremployee engagement. PolicyDevelopment & Implementation : Standardize ER processes andpolicies across the organization to ensure consistency in grievanceresolution, disciplinary actions, and other ER practices. Ensure that time officemanagement, wage and salary administration, and contract labormanagement practices are uniformly applied across all plants. Develop, update, and enforcecorporate disciplinary and performance management policies. EmployeeEngagement & Relations : Lead corporate-level employeeengagement initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and programs that fostertrust, morale, and productivity. Design and implement employeerecognition and reward programs targeted at building a positive workenvironment, especially for blue-collar employees. Ensure the creation of a voiceof the employee strategy that allows for open communication across alllevels and facilitates real-time issue resolution. Training & Development : Collaborate with HR learning anddevelopment teams to identify ER/IR training needs for managers, HRteams, and employee representatives across plants. Ensure that trainingprograms are standardized to ensure consistency in policy enforcement, conflict resolution, and labor relations practices. CrisisManagement & Dispute Resolution : Oversee the resolution ofcomplex labor disputes or industrial actions, providing strategicdirection for management during crisis situations. Ensure that disciplinaryactions and domestic inquiry proceedings are conducted in a fairand legally compliant manner. Provide senior leadershipwith real-time insights into potential issues, recommending solutionsto prevent escalation. HRMIS & Reporting : Ensure the implementationand maintenance of HRMS systems that track and report on key employeerelations metrics. Regularly update senior managementon ER KPIs, trends in industrial relations, employee engagement scores, and compliance audits. Provide analytical reports tothe management team to inform strategic decision-making. EmployerBranding & Public Relations : Drive corporate employerbranding initiatives to promote the company as an employer of choice, bothinternally and externally. Foster relationships withgovernment agencies, local authorities, and external stakeholders toensure positive public relations and maintain strong ties with key regulatorybodies. Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility : Lead and support the implementationof WCM (World Class Manufacturing) and sustainability initiatives atthe plant level. Ensure that thecompanys sustainability goals and social responsibility initiativesare integrated into ER strategies and plant-level operations. CoreCompetencies: Strategic Business Awareness : Ability to align ER practices withcorporate objectives and business needs. Labor Law Expertise : In-depth understanding of nationallabor laws, industrial relations regulations, and compliance obligations. Leadership & Influencing : Strong leadership skills with theability to influence and engage with senior management and plant leadership. Conflict Resolution & Negotiation :Expertise in handling complex disputes, negotiations, and union relations. Excellent Communication : Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills for reporting, influencing, and relationship-building. General: Age around 28-35 years.
