Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Collections Manager, based in Guwahati. The role involves monitoring and managing collections performance to minimize delinquency and ensure timely collections of outstanding payments. Responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, supervising and motivating the collections team, analyzing collection data, and strategizing for improvement. The Area Collections Manager will also ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies, while driving operational efficiency and implementing best practices.

Qualifications

Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in data analysis and the use of relevant tools for tracking and reporting collection performance
Knowledge of financial products, debt collection processes, and regulatory compliance in the NBFC sector
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Experience in driving operational efficiency and developing strategies for performance improvement
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Prior experience in a collections or financial services role is highly beneficial
Familiarity with the regional market and local language proficiency is a plus
