  We are seeking an accomplished Lead Quality Engineer with 10+ years of QA experience, including a minimum of 6 years in modern UI test automation using tools like Cypress or Playwright, and deep expertise in TypeScript and CSS/UI Kits. This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive quality across the frontend stack, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build scalable, maintainable automation frameworks. You’ll lead the strategy, design, and implementation of automation solutions that ensure the visual and functional integrity of complex web applications. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and maintenance of UI automation frameworks using Cypress or Playwright in TypeScript. Define and implement test strategies for frontend applications with a focus on usability, accessibility, and responsiveness. Work closely with developers and designers to understand UI architecture and enforce pixel-perfect quality standards using CSS and UI design systems/kits. Mentor and guide a team of quality engineers and review automation code and practices. Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable test feedback. Analyze defects, identify root causes, and contribute to continuous quality improvements. Advocate for test automation, best practices, and shift-left testing approaches. Must-Have Skills 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering. Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with: UI automation using Cypress or Playwright TypeScript for test development CSS and UI component libraries/kits (e.g., Material UI, Tailwind, Bootstrap) Deep understanding of modern web technologies and responsive design testing. Proven experience designing scalable, maintainable test frameworks. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and working in Agile teams.
