The Team:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Data Quality and Governance Organization at S&P Global Market Intelligence. A function that partners across the Market Intelligence to establish quality practices, transform process design, client journey as well as spread the improvement culture. Our Customer needs and business outcomes is at the center of what we do. The Impact:
The role include a blend of hand-on experience of the target dataset along with an opportunity to learn about cross functional collaboration and sharing/deployment of best practices across data sets. The primary focus is on ensuring that data is reliable, complete, consistent, and aligned with the organization's data governance policies. Responsibilities:
Oversee the quality of data related to fundamental financial data sets, ensuring reliability, completeness, and consistency. Collaborate with senior mentors on data mining and analysis, following established frameworks. Monitor industry trends and reporting standards to identify potential improvements in processes related to financial data. Collect, standardize, and validate diverse data types, including financial statements, earnings reports, and regulatory filings. Achieve predefined individual and team targets, ensuring outcomes are delivered with quality and excellence. Operate within set parameters and under supervision to maintain data quality and performance standards. Troubleshoot data quality issues and provide support to the team. Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
A solid understanding of key financial statements, with an added advantage of a general understanding of specific industrial sector fundamentals. An analytical mindset with a strong grasp of the fundamentals of financials of companies, including essential financial metrics and indicators. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel dashboards. Technical expertise in areas such as GenAI, analysis, and data mining. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and competent computer skills are essential. Preferred Qualifications:
