Title And Summary Analyst, Open Banking Analytics Job Title: Analyst, Open Banking API Performance Job Family: Data Analytics About The Role The Open Banking Business Intelligence (OB BI) team is committed to optimizing the performance, reliability, and efficiency of Open Banking APIs. As an Associate Analyst, you will support data-driven decisions that enhance API uptime, transaction speeds, error rates, and overall operational performance. This role is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to **API analytics, monitoring, and performance optimization** within a dynamic fintech environment. Key Responsibilities Analyze API performance metrics, including response times, latency, throughput, and failure rates. Support incident tracking, root cause analysis, and performance benchmarking for API reliability. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify trends and propose data-driven improvements. Assist in building dashboards and reports to monitor API health, using tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Work with large datasets from API logs, transaction data, and system monitoring platforms. Research industry benchmarks for Open Banking API efficiency and help align internal performance metrics. Support automation and predictive analytics initiatives to proactively address performance issues. Communicate insights effectively to technical and business teams for continuous improvement. About You Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of API architecture, data flows, and fintech operations. Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data analysis. Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Datadog is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in performance analysis. Ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and a desire to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
