Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Agentic AI Engineer at Kroolo. As a Agentic AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing agentic workflows and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize AI solutions, conduct experiments, and provide technical expertise.

Automation capabilities
- Experience building a workflow builder like n8n or sim ai
Core LLM & Agentic Skills
- Strong understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations (reasoning, hallucinations, context windows, tool-calling).
- Experience designing agentic workflows using patterns like ReAct, planning, and multi-agent coordination.
- Hands-on experience with at least one agent framework such as
Agno
, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar. - Strong prompt and tool design skills: system prompts, tool schemas, guardrails, and debuggable step-by-step traces.
Backend & Python Skills
- Strong
Python
development skills, including async programming, background jobs, and REST API design (FastAPI). - Experience building and orchestrating workflows (DAGs, state machines, event-driven flows, queues like Redis/RabbitMQ).
- Integration of external tools and services: REST/GraphQL APIs, databases, SaaS, internal microservices.
- Experience working with vector databases and RAG-style integrations is a plus (for knowledge tools and memory).
Frontend & Full-Stack Skills
- Strong experience with
React
or Next.js
(React hooks, state management, routing, data fetching patterns). - Ability to build interactive workflow builder UIs: drag-and-drop nodes, edges, configuration panels, logs/trace viewers.
- Comfortable designing and consuming typed APIs (OpenAPI / Swagger, TypeScript on frontend is a plus).
- Experience with authentication, basic RBAC, and session management in a modern web app stack.
Architecture & Product Thinking
- Ability to translate real business workflows into agentic flows with clear goals, tools, and escalation paths.
- Experience designing for human-in-the-loop: approvals, corrections, and transparent step-by-step run history.
- Strong debugging mindset for LLM agents: inspecting traces, reproducing failures, and tightening prompts/tools iteratively.
Nice-to-have
- Exposure to multi-modal or tool-using agents (browser, code-execution, document tools).
- Prior experience building dev tools / internal platforms used by other engineers or ops teams.
